Site Shield overview

Site Shield is website security for small businesses: $100 per site, per year. A person sets you up.

What is covered

• A yearly security review of the site: core, plugins, themes and packages, checked against known vulnerabilities.
• Patching on disclosure. When a vulnerability is disclosed that affects your site, we patch it as soon as it is practical.
• Tested updates. Updates go to a copy first and go live only once they work.
• A backup before every change, kept off-site, so a change can be rolled back.
• A plain report each cycle: what was updated, what was found and what was fixed.

Above the base plan

• Priority: a faster response on any request, for a paid uplift.
• Projects: refactoring, migrations and rebuilds, quoted per job before work starts.

How setup works

1. Buy Site Shield on the Products page and give us your website address.
2. We email you within one business day to book a short setup call.
3. On the call you grant access to the site. The first review starts that week.

What we never do

• We never access a site its owner has not enrolled.
• We never tell anyone their site is exposed to sell them Site Shield.
• Every change is recorded and reviewed before it ships.
